Kommt das iPad 2 mit 512 MB RAM?
Das iPad erhielt damals einen Arbeitsspeicher von nur 256 MB. Und nach der Keynote am Mittwoch stellt man sich die 
Frage, wieviel Arbeitsspeicher das neue iPad 2 haben wird. Apple äusserte sich dazu bislang noch nicht. Das iPhone 4 hatte im Juni bereits 512 MB RAM gesponsert bekommen, und beim iPad 2 munkelt man neben dem neuen Apple A5-Prozessor auch die RAM Erhöhung auf 512 MB. Auch Ming-Chi Kuo, ein koreanischer Analyst, glaubt das Apple iPad hätte die doppelte Menge des Arbeitsspeichers seines Vorgängers. Zudem läuft iMovie auf dem iPhone 4 und wird auch in einer größeren Form auf dem neuen iPad 2 laufen.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of Concord Securities also told AppleInsider that the RAM in the iPad 2 would run at a higher clock speed of 1,066MHz for greater memory bandwidth than the 800MHz memory in the iPhone 4.
Kuo also indicated back in January that the iPad 2 would have LPDDR2 RAM at a speed of 1,066MHz, corroborating Lee’s more recent claims. Kuo said the memory would be supplied by both Samsung and Hynix.
