Apple gab im Januar bekannt, dass Steve Jobs auf Grund seiner gesundheitlichen Verfassung eine kurzzeitige Beurlaubung nehme und dass Tim Cook die laufenden Geschäftstätigkeiten übernimmt. Er überprüft regelmäßig die Produkte und deren Pläne.
